The biggest social network Facebook is also following the trend right now, as we know every single company is heading in the direction of fitness Apps and gadgets, its now Facebook who is following a long list of companies like Nike, Google, Samsung, LG, Motorola and Apple. We don't know why but all of a sudden all the companies have been involved in doing some thing toward the fitness industry, now Facebook buying a Helsinki-based fitness tracking app Moves in an undisclosed deal.
An official blog post from Moves read as "We are joining Facebook’s talented team to work on building and improving their products and services with a shared mission of supporting simple, efficient tools for more than a billion people”. We are not sure about how much the deal was closed off, but we are sure that it was lesser than the other two companies which were purchased by Facebook this year from the conformation of the deal from Facebook to the Wall Street Journal it was said that Facebook had said "nowhere near the size of other acquisitions the company has made in recent months”.
